Svres, blue interlaced L's enclosing date letters for 1756-1786, various painters' and incised marks
Painted in bright colours with loose bouquets within blue feuille-de-choux panels edged in gilt, within gilt rims, comprising:
Three square dishes (compotier 'carr'), 8in. (21.5cm.) wide
Three shell-shaped dishes (compotier 'coquille'), 9in. (22.8cm.) wide, the largest
Three shallow circular dishes (compotier 'rond'), 8in. (22.2cm.) diam.
Three salad bowls (saladier 'rond'), 9in. (22.8cm.) diam.
Two small bottle coolers (seau ' topette'), 6in. (15.2cm.) high, 8in. (20.3cm.) wide
Two large bottle coolers (seau bouteille 'ordinaire'), 7in. (17.7cm.) high, 8in. (20.3cm.) wide
An octagonal mortar (mortier), 6.5/8in. (16.8cm.) high, 8in. (22.2cm.) wide
An oval montieth (seau oval crenel), 12in. (30.5cm.) wide overall
Two sugar-bowls and notched covers on fixed stands (sucrier 'oval' et plateau), 9in. (24.2cm.) wide, the stands
