Of gold, depicting flying eagles, details of the tips of the wings and lower parts of the bodies in shakudo zogan, details of the feathers finely carved in various techniques

Fukawa Kazunori II (1824-1876) was the son of the dramatist Gohensha Hanku. He became a student of Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) at age 12. After Hokusai's death, he studied with the metalworker Azuma Masutsune of the Goto school.
