Of rectangular form decorated in gold and iro-e hiramaki-e, kimpun and inlaid shell with goldfish on a mura-nashiji ground, the risers decorated in chinkin-bori with pomegranates, lotuses and leaves on a roiro ground; fitted with a glass ojime and a small ivory netsuke of an octopus holding a pot, the eyes inlaid in dark horn, signed Hakuryu
