The first carved to represent the character Heita (a man), hair and moustache painted red and black on a orange ground, the interior lacquered black; the second representing the character Chujo or Waka Otoko (officer or young man), the hair, eyebrows and upper teeth painted black, the lips in red, the face beige; and the third carved as the character Yase Otoko, with high cheek bones
