Maker's mark of Henricus I De Potter, Brussels, 1730-1734
Of baluster fluted form, on four scroll feet headed by cartouche-shaped joins enclosing diaperwork, the upper body flat-chased with lambrequins and foliate scrolls on a matte ground and engraved with three medallions enclosing classical female profiles, the spout with mask, the stepped domed hinged cover with similar decoration surmounted by a threaded finial, with scroll ivory handle, marked under base, with later Dutch import mark, also bearing exposition labels inside
