Circular, on a rectangular base with lion's-paw and foliate feet supporting an oil lamp, the part-fluted body with gadroon and shell shoulder on four reeded lion's-paw feet, the two leaf-capped handles with foliate joins, the part-fluted domed cover surmounted by a foliate and fruit calyx, each side engraved with a coat-of-arms above motto, the shoulder with a helm below two crests, marked on body, cover, calyx and spigot, the spigot also struck PATENT
