Only two other works by the artist appear to be known; one which is similarly signed but dated 1632 has a similar roemer and an almost identical overturned beaker to that in the present picture, the other is dated 1620 (see N.R.A. Vroom, A Modest Message, Schiedam, 1980, I, p. 202, fig. 276, colour; II, p. 110, nos. 553 and 554)
