Dresden, circa 1740, the mounts French, 19th century, with rubbed maker's mark in a lozenge
Rectangular white enamel on copper box, all over decorated with slightly raised gilt motifs partly enamelled in translucent green and red depicting flowers and leaves, the cover and base bordered with wavy rectangular framework of trailing foliage, silver-gilt reeded mounts with slightly raised wavy thumbpiece
