Maker's mark of Francois-Dominique Naudin, Paris, 1819-1838
Threaded Hanoverian pattern, each piece stamped and chased with crowned monogram, the knives with tapering handles chased with anthemion and similar monogram, comprising:
- Twenty-five table-spoons
- Twenty-five table-forks
- A soup-ladle
- An olive-spoon
- A sauce-ladle, unmarked
- A carving-knife with steel blade
- A carving-fork
- Two table-knives with steel blades
Together with a cheese-serving knife with foliate pistol handle, London, 1897.
All in fitted brass-band mahogany case, the cover with central plaque engraved C.S. Sanier
