Comprising a pendent necklace, the front section set with seven graduated oval-cut rubies, each with an oval-cut and pear-shaped diamond surround and surmount, to the diamond spacers and drops, suspended from a circular-cut diamond neckchain with a central oval-cut ruby; a pair of ear-pendants and a ring en suite, mounted in platinum, necklace 39.5 cm., with French assay marks, in an Asprey burgundy leather fitted case

With thirteen certificates from the Gbelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, in their opinion.
With thirteen certificates from the Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain, (GTL) dated 8/6/1998 and 7/7/1998 stating that six of the rubies are treated and the fractures are filled with an artificial material and seven of the rubies are heat treated and may contain artificial material from the heat treatment process.
With forty-six certificates from the Gemological Institute of America stating that 46 of the diamonds range in weight from 1.00 to 3.58 carats, are from D to E colour and from internally flawless to VS2 clarity. (3)
