The twin fusee movement with pull-repeat striking on a single bell, with brass backplate engraved with a lattice basket issuing flowers and scrolls, the brass dial with silvered chapter-ring, the matted centre with recessed silvered panel inscribed Richd. Grove, London, with date aperture, enclosed by acanthus and c-scroll cast spandrels, the arch with strike/silent dial, enclosed by an arched glazed door with moulded border, pierced brass sound-frets to the angles, further sound-frets to the sides, the moulded rectangular cornice surmounted by pineapple cone finials, with pagoda-style pediment fitted with a folding brass loop handle, on moulded rectangular base and brass block feet
