The arched and moulded cornice above a blind-fretwork frieze fitted with a mahogany and kingwood crossbanded arched glazed door, enclosing a brass dial with silvered-chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, inscribed Isaac Goddard, London, the sides with fluted and gilt-metal-mounted columns, the case fitted with an arched rectangular crossbanded panelled trunk door, between fluted canted gilt-metal-mounted demi-column angles, the panelled base on a later moulded plinth with bracket feet
