In the above match played on 7th April 1906 at Glasgow, Scotland defeated England 2-1.

The above cap was awarded to Harry Makepeace who played for Everton at the time. He played a total of four times for England at full International level between 1906 and 1912 and played for the Football League on five occasions. He joined Everton in 1902 from Bootle Amatuers and retired from playing in January 1919. Whilst with Everton he won a Division 1 Championship medal in 1915 and was also a F.A. Cup winner with them in 1906.
