An Italianate fortified Villa on an Outcrop

The handling of the trees is comparable to drawings by Neyts sold at Christie's, London, 26 March 1974, lot 122 and at Christie's, South Kensington, 5 December 1997, lot 367. The inscription indicates that Neyts would have drawn this after a prototype by a member of the Brueghel family.
