The present lot is a retouched counterproof of a copy after a picture attributed to A. van der Neer in the Konstmuseum in Götenborg. The original drawing by La Fargue is in the Pushkin Museum, Moscow, inv. no. 4691.
This was sold at Sotheby Mak van Waay, Amsterdam, 3 April 1978, lot 131, illustrated (attr. to T. Heeremans).
