AN ELEGANT DIAMOND TIARA/NECKLACE
Formed as openwork scrolls and floral motifs set with a main circular-cut diamond to the centre and suspending a pear-cut diamond below, the back necklace section set with rose-cut diamonds, mounted in silver and gold and with tiara frame, (five of the diamonds in this piece have been replaced with later imitations), in blue leather case with dark blue fitted interior, retailed by Durand-Leriche and Beaudoin of Ch Massin, 253 Rue St Honore, Paris, circa 1890
