In the Louis XVI style, the circular white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, painted with floral garlands and signed H. Brokke/Amsterdam, the twin-going barrel movement stamped MEDAILLE D'ARGENT/VINCENTI/Cie/1855, with silk-suspended sunburst pendulum and outside countwheel strike on a bell, within a beaded bezel, surmounted by a classical urn with pinecone finial, above ribbon-tied laurel garlands, above a maiden's mask and a foliate boss
