The rectangular top crossbanded with rosewood and inlaid with a boxwood line, above three frieze drawers, flanked on the right by a hinged door with four simulated drawers to the front, enclosing a metal-lined interior with two slatted shelves, and flanked on the left by a deep cellaret drawer above two further drawers, one drawer base replaced, originally with a gallery
