First Quarter 19th Century
Comprising a letter-holder, an ink-well and a pen-tray, the first with graduated compartments and a trefoil piecrced gallery above a floral band, the sides inset with ribbed panels, on paw feet, the ink well with gadrooned pots and vase quill supports and a ropetwist carrying-handle, on paw feet, the pen-tray with dished top and pierced gallery, on paw feet
The letter holder: 8in. (21.5 cm.) high; 7 in. (18.45 cm.) wide; 4 in. (12.5 cm.) deep
The ink-well: 8 in. (20 cm.) high; 10 in. (25.5 cm.) wide
The pen-tray: 3 in. (8.5 cm.) high; 8 in. (22.5 cm.) wide (3)
