In the Manner of George Smith
The crossbanded rectangular top with gallery, above a ribbed frieze with four drawers and centred by anthemion and scrolling foliage, and flanked by further foliate-carved panels, on acanthus-wrapped reeded tapering legs, claw feet, previously with a brass gallery, the top repositioned approximately one inch forward

A large breakfront sideboard with similar frieze panels and foliate capitals above reeded tapering legs with large claw feet is illustrated in G. Smith, Collection of Designs for Household Furniture and Interior Decoration, London, 1808, pl. 92.
