Fuku Mark, Edo Period (Late 17th Century)
Decorated in iron-red, green, yellow and black enamels, the body with a continuous band of blossoming peonies and foliage among cloud-shaped panels with geometric patterns, between enamelled circumferential lines and a band of hanabishi, the shoulder with a central stylised flowerhead among geometric patterns, each within five shaped panels divided by a band of stylised flowers, the repaired rim silver-mounted, some old wear and rubbing to the enamels
