A Gilt Lacquer Zushi

The case applied with gold leaf over kuronuri, the kanamono finely worked in gilt copper, the four hinges decorated with karakusa in nanako and kebori, the two doorknobs in the form of lotus buds, the four-stage kanamono for the hanging-ring pierced in the form of a cherry blossom, the gilt interior of the zushi contains two standing figures, Jizo Bosatsu on the left, holding a shakujo in his right hand and a stupa in the other and, on the right, Juichimen Kannon, holding a vase in her left hand, each figure stands on a lotus throne supported by clouds and has a mandala behind the head
