The blade honzukuri, iorimune, toriizori with extended chugissaki, forging pattern itame, tempered edge midare, tang ubu, 27.5/8in. (70.3cm.); in an ishimeji lacquer scabbard decorated with kuyomon, horn koiguchi, kojiri and kaeritsuno, iron fuchi-kashira carved and inlaid with deer, gilt karashishi menuki, mokumeji iron tsuba pierced with kuyomon and with traces of gold nunome zogan, signed Myochin Munesada saku
