Lot Essay

Designed by Oliver Gaube in 1979-1980 this lampe bouillotte demonstrates how the Odiot manufactory combined 'les éléments d'antan à une création contemporaine.' The design for this lampe bouillotte is published in O. Gaube du Gers, Odiot, l'Orfèvre, 1990, p.312. A closely related lamp, illustrated in H. Ottomeyer, P.
