A PAIR OF FRENCH ORMOLU CANDLESTICKS
19th Century
Each with two scantily-draped putti supporting an hexagonal shaft and an urn-shaped and foliate-cast nozzle with foliate-rimmed removable and dished drip-pan, on a spreading circular base with three panels depicting flaming urns, a quiver and a sun within a laurel band and with foliate clasps on tapering rectangular feet
