The shaped rectangular back, outscrolled arms and bow-fronted seat covered with yellow and white silk damask, the frame carved overall with foliage, scrolls and rocaille motifs, the back centred by an asymmetrical cartouche, and the arms with conforming decoration above cabriole legs headed by foliage, the rails inscribed in pen three times '5', one foot broken
