by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Nicholas II, 1905, with the hammer and cycle with cog, the artist's Cyrillic initials dated 1921, the cup with further initials 'RSFSR'
The cylindrical cup and rim of the circular saucer with gilt ciselé flowerheads and vase with brown and green foliate sprays on dark blue ground, the cup inscribed in Cyrillic '19-S.Chekhonin-21' at foot, both marked under bases
