A fine exhibition standard ½in:1ft scale model of a 30ft double ended ship's lifeboat of circa 1920,
built by R. Phillips as in full size practice from boxwood, lime, spruce and mahogany, the fully framed hull with fore and aft lockers, bottom boards, adjustable foot rests, thwarts, water barrels, mast and boom, rowlocks for ten oars, rope coils, lifting hooks, tiller and rudder, external hand ropes and other details, finished in varnish and mounted on a mahogany base with seven oars and boathook displayed -- 4 x 20in. (10.2 x 50.8cm.) Certificate.
