A fine small coverlet, made up of small squares of ivory muslin, divided by drawn threadwork grids, each square with delicate whitework decoration, many with a dove carrying olive branches, others with a giraffe, a camel, a peacock--22 x 21in. (56 x 54cm.); a coverlet of ivory linen, with inserted panels of bobbin lace--43 x 29in. (109 x 74cm.); two flounces of Milanese lace, with undulating foliate designs--one 39.5 x 6in. (100 x 15cm.), the other 31.5 x 4.5in. (80 x 11cm.); and a flounce, the net embroidered with a thick band of barley, fruiting vines and flowers--137.5 x 9.5in. (350 x 24cm.)
