meiji period (late 19th century)
Of shallow circular form, enamelled with a central floral roundel enclosed by four shaped floral cartouches and pine and prunus sprays reserved on a brocade ground further enclosed within a blue brocade and lotus decorated band, mounted with a foliate rim and set atop a circular base with four scrolling mask-topped feet
