A George Jones 'Punch' bowl
the bowl formed as an orange half, moulded with a continuous branch of holly leaves and berries, supported by Mr. Punch, recumbent on his back, on a dark blue mound, the interior in lilac, the underside with tortoiseshell glazes, circa 1873 (finger reduced, chip to base and chips to hat) -- 35cm. diam.
