Autograph postcard signed ("G. Bernard Shaw") to Messrs R. and R. Clark at Brendon Street Edinburgh, Scotland, 12°, from Clivedon, Taplow, Buckinghamshire, 13 August 1941, with a Scottish arrival date frankmark of 15 August 1941.
Shaw draws attention to the Clivedon address as it will only be "until the 30th". He writes: "Lane explained about the Penguin. As he seems to have unlimited paper I am tempted to plant the new book on him." He concludes by enquiring withether the Clarks have "a copy of the suppressed letter to the Times?".
