A 7½-inch (9cm.) diameter terrestrial globe, made up of twenty-four coloured lithographed paper gores and two polar calottes, the ecliptic and prime meridian ungraduated, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the oceans showing major currents, steamship and [?]airship routes, certain nations and states delicately outlined in green and yellow (some surface discolouration, old crack to equator), on steel axis pin with steel and nickel-plated brass finial, raised on baluster turned fruitwood column and plinth base -- 15in. (38.1cm.) high
