enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer five minute markers spelling the name "THOMAS GIBBON", the centre decorated with a rustic blacksmithing scene, beetle and poker hands, signed and numbered gilt fusee movement with square baluster pillars, balance cock and fusee chain lacking, plain pair cases with London marks for 1779, diameter 52mm.
