A silver pair cased pocket watch with Ormskirk verge escapement, James Ryland, Ormskirk, No.501, 1794,
white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic quarters, pierced gold hands, signed and numbered full plate movement with going barrel, the blued mainspring confined by rods projecting down from the top-plate, club footed Ormskirk verge escapement with two opposing crown wheels, plain pair cases with Chester marks for 1794, diameter 51mm.
