Yang Qingcan, a pair of paintings
in ink, colour and slight gilt on silk, one depicting an emaciated rakan seated beside a lohan wearing a red cloak, a recumbent Buddhistic lion at his side; the other with a rakan seated on rockwork greeting an Immortal -- 12in. x 16¼in. (30.5cms x 41.2cms), framed and glazed, 19th century, (minor creasing and foxing).
