The anglaise riche case with silvered capitals to gilt Corinthian columns, ripple galleries, the dial with Roman chapter ring and retail signature I.L. Brown, blued moon hands, the moonphase below flanked by dials for day and date, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong, a white enamel alarm disc on the backplate with the alarm sounding on the gong and at the end of its cycle tripping off the musical cylinder movement housed in the base, also with manual trip release lever, playing two sequential tunes
