A French gilt and silvered brass striking and repeating carriage clock

The case with dentil and beaded angles, the side panels cast in relief in the renaissance style, with lady and hawk to one side and squire and hound to the other, amidst foliate scrolls, the mask with conforming ornament of dragon and hunting dogs, with recessed gilt Roman dial, blued hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate numbered 49836
