Album of 117 albumen prints and five platinum prints, the former approx. 3½ x 5½ to approx. 10½ x 8½ in., the latter approx. 8 x 10 in., a few of the larger albumen prints with blindstamp credit Friths Series, the majority titled in ink on mounts, brown morocco, marbled edges, oblong 4to.

Lot Essay

A good album touring the cathedrals and chateaux of Northern France and the Mediterranean coast with street scenes and busy harbour views. Also including five large views of a villa; five large platinum print views on an estate including people boating and shooting and a portrait of two estate workers; and an oval portrait of a young boy with his donkey.
