Three albums containing a total of 120 gelatin silver prints, each approx. 6 x 7¾ in. or the reverse, ink stamps including Official Photograph... stamp on verso, numbered and captioned in Dutch on typescript labels on mounts, grey paper covers, titled Album on front cover, bound with string sm. oblong 4to.; with a quantity of more than 250 loose photographs, gelatin silver prints, snapshot and 6 x 7¾ in., several dated and/or with typescript caption labels and the majority with various ink stamps on verso. Lot Essay

Several images around the camps including one of the soldiers taking their medicine (illus.), scenes in the trenches, checking equipment, several portraits in full uniform, an image of two soldiers playing cards at a table amongst the destruction; several of women working in the factories, loading supplies, nurses in the infirmary; one of a man receiving a shave from a fellow soldier, scenes from a sports day and several images of cannons and tanks.
