Six hand-tinted albumen prints, each approx. 8½ x 10½ in. or the reverse, one numbered in the negative, four in decorative lacquer frames with onlay decoration depiciting birds and flowers, two in later frames; The Ceremonial Tea Observance in Japan, illustrated with hand-tinted collotypes, printed captions in margins, introduction and title page, cloth boards with inset watercolour panel depicting a lake scene, bound with string, oblong 8vo.; with seventy-five photographs, twelve hand-tinted albumen prints of Japanese views, approx. 8 x 10 in., the remainder views of China and Hong Kong, each approx. 3¼ x 3¼ in.
