A garniture of five silver painted metal and enamel glass ceiling lights
Circa 1940
Comprising a large centre light of octagonal tapering form, the sides applied with models of butterflies, the moulded and frosted glass bodies forming outset shades, the wings heightened in blue and yellow enamels, below a central rod support, with square stepped corona, and the set of four matching pendant lights, each modelled as a conforming butterfly
The centre light -- 39in. (99cm) high, overall; 42in. (106.5cm) wide; the matching pendant lights -- 30½in. (77.5cm) high, overall; wingspan -- 24in. (61cm) (5)
