Provenance
Simon 'Teddy' Templer

Simon spent the summer of 1997 flying in the nose laser bay of the R.A.F. Lossiemouth display Jaguar with pilot, Flt. Lt. Mark 'Cutty' Cutmore. He was named Flying Officer Simon Templer due to the squadrons mascot being 'the saint' stick man. Simon flew at approximately 34 display events through the season, but only after he had passed the strict medical requirements imposed.
Simon has now retired from active display service, after gaining his own personal R.A.F. flying log detailing all his flying hours, R.A.F. medical record, Identification 'Dog' Tags and his own flying suit including scaled squadron badges.
Simon was introduced to Squadron Leader Andy Green, the driver of the successful British land speed record attempt.
Wherever possible Flt. Lt. Mark 'Cutty' Cutmore and the 1997 Jaguar display manager Flying Officer James Freeborough recorded Simons exploits with the camera, hence the snapshots, although many of the photographs were taken by an official R.A.F. photographer and the people are genuine base personel at RAF Lossiemouth.

Niki Sadler, Buckie Bears

Niki Sadler started making artist bears in 1995. Prior to this she had been making plush soft toys and miniatures for the craft shop which she ran with her husband.
Buckie Bears are made to Niki's own pattern designs, with most of her attention focusing on undressed bears which have a mixture of a modern look and a 'classic' design. All of Niki's bears are produced using the finest quality Mohair, most of which is produced in Germany & England, traditional glass eyes and hardboard and cotter-pin joints.
Buckie Bears won British Bear Artist Award 1997. They have quickly gained an excellent reputation world wide.
