The first circa 1800, the second by Orbea Hermanos, Eibar, No. 2661, third quarter of the 19th Century
The first converted from flintlock, with brass cannon barrel and action of one piece, the former with belled muzzle, spring-held side-mounted iron ramrod (later) and spring bayonet beneath released by the engraved case-hardened iron trigger-guard, border engraved action with a floral wreath on each side, case-hardened hammer and thumb-piece safety-catch, and figured flat-sided walnut butt inlaid with silver wire scrollwork (some losses); the second with scroll engraved fluted barrel block, action and frame, signed folding trigger, and chequered walnut grips
