in the Louis XV style, each with an arched padded back, shaped open arms with strapwork and shell-carved terminals, and a padded seat upholstered in close studded crimson damask, with a shell and scroll-carved front-rail, on cabriole legs joined by curved X-stretchers and with hairy hoof feet, the upholstery distressed, one chair with damage to three legs and with the stretchers loose
