Three late late 16th-early 18th-Century hour glasses,
including a fruitwood example, the upper and lower plates united by four carved and shaped supports, the bulbs secured with silk-covered waxed cord -- 6¼in. (15.8cm.) high, with white sand; another with pale brown sand; and a metal-framed hour glass, the bulbs encased by upper and lower frieze decoration and six pillars, the bulbs united at the centre by waxed cord, filled with white sand -- 6.1/8in. (15.2cm.) high
