A German 18th or 19th Century carved and gilded frame, with outer scotia; the corners of the ogee moulding with scalloped shell cartouches flanked by C-scrolls and scrolling foliage; recessed sanded band; ogee moulding with rocaille cartouches at centres to the sight edge - 21 x 18 x 3 in. (53.2 x 45.7 x 7.6 cm.)
