the sides chased with oval floral cartouches leading down to a waved rim, probably Turkish, mid nineteenth century; encased in a thimble bucket heavily cast with scrollwork and shells, with chain attachment, Birmingham makers mark, E.S.B, late nineteenth century -- length of bucket 3.2cms
