Lot Essay

Foaled in 1829 and owned bu George Skipsey, Physician was by Brutendorf out of Primette. He won the Maiden Stakes at Newton in 1832 and several races at Doncaster, having been unplaced in the St. Leger won by John Gully's Margrave. He was second in the St. Leger at Liverpool and ended his career with a total of 14 wins.
