The circular white enamelled chapter ring with roman chapters, within a rectangular plinth cast, with an amphora above a goat, surmounted by the bust of an emperor, and flanked by a flute playing youth to the left and a fruiting vase to the right, the plinth mounted with maidens and youth, on circular feet, on an oval ebonised plinth surmounted by a glass dome
